Producer's Work

Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

By registering, logging in, or using ProducersWork.com, you agree to the policies on this page, including permanent deletion of cancelled account data after 30 days.

01

Privacy Policy

The Producer's Work privacy policy is simple: we do not sell, rent, or give away any of your personal information to a third party, ever. We also do not use your information for any commercial purpose.

What we store

We store the email address and display name you provide at signup so we can email you about your account and address you by name (so you know it isn't spam or a phishing email). We also store the audio, images, lyrics, and project metadata you upload, so the app can show them back to you.

Retention after cancellation

If you cancel your account or subscription, your stored account data, project data, audio, images, and related uploads may be permanently deleted from our system 30 days after cancellation. After that point the data is irretrievable.

Payment information

Producer's Work is a paid subscription. Your card details are never seen or stored by us — payments are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc.

Why we charge

A modest subscription covers the cost of running the site and lets us keep the resources we need to operate it lean — we don't need millions of dormant accounts. A meaningful share of every payment goes to our payment processor. By chipping in up front, you ensure that youare not the product, and we don't need to fund the site by selling your data — which we will never do.

Your data is private

You only have access to your own account and projects. You cannot see other users' projects, and they cannot see yours. No one hears the audio you upload but you and the collaborators you choose to share with.

02

Terms of Use

“I have read, understand, agree to, and will abide by the Producer's Work Privacy Policy and its Terms of Use.” — what you affirm by registering, logging in, and using this site, including the 30-day post-cancellation deletion policy.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the audio and content you upload. You warrant that you own or have the right to use anything you upload, and that you will not use the service to store unlawful content.

Uploaded media, backups, and exports

You should retain your own copies of all audio, images, lyrics, documents, and other media you upload. Producer's Work stores uploaded media only to operate the site and is not a backup, archival, or disaster recovery service.

You may download a CSV of your project metadata from your account at any time as a courtesy export. This metadata export does not include uploaded audio, images, or other media files.

If you need a backup or transfer of uploaded media, contact us and request a quote. Whether we can provide that service depends on the number of projects, the volume of files, the requested format, and team availability. We do not guarantee that media backup or transfer services will be available.

Service changes

Producer's Work is a small, early-stage startup. The product, pricing, storage allowances, upload limits, feature set, and support model may change quickly while we find the right balance between price and service. That can include prices increasing, file size limits decreasing, storage quotas changing, or features being added, removed, or reworked.

We may also update these terms from time to time with reasonable notice. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address on your account.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund.

03

Tiers & Limits

Plan limits

Producer includes up to 300 projects, 10 GB of stored media, 25 GB of estimated monthly bandwidth, and 3 audio versions per project. Producer Pro includes up to 1,000 projects, 50 GB of stored media, 100 GB of estimated monthly bandwidth, and 5 audio versions per project.

Storage limits

If your account reaches its storage limit, new audio and artwork uploads may be blocked until you free space or upgrade. You can delete old projects, audio versions, or media files to free up space.

Bandwidth limits

Monthly bandwidth is an estimate based on tracked audio plays and downloads in the app and on share links. If your account exceeds its monthly bandwidth limit, audio playback may be paused until the 1st of the next month or until your plan is upgraded.

04

Billing & Refunds

Trial period

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial of Producer's Work. A valid payment method is required at signup. If the trial is not cancelled before it ends, the selected plan begins automatically and your card is charged the listed price.

Monthly plan

The monthly plan renews each month at the listed price. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month and you retain access until then. Partial-month refunds are not provided.

Annual plan — non-refundable

The annual plan is sold at a discount in exchange for a 12-month commitment. Once an annual term begins, the fee is non-refundable in whole or in part, including but not limited to: change of mind, non-use of the service, account inactivity, switching to monthly billing, or cancellation prior to the end of the term. Cancelling an annual plan stops auto-renewal but does not refund the current term. By starting an annual plan you explicitly acknowledge and accept this non-refund policy.

Closing your account

You can close your account at any time. Go to Settings → Close my account. This cancels your subscription right away and there will be no future charges. Per the policies above, there are no refunds for any subscription if you cancel early.

Thirty days after cancellation, your account data and uploaded media may be permanently deleted from the system and cannot be recovered.
